US (Fucked-up) Foreign Policy and I

My dear Narain D Batra,

I am Sid Harth.

I am not interested in what Mathai said and what Mukherjee said in Washington. Mostly, such (scripted) notices are read by themselves.

You made another big mistake. Reporting the Indian expatriates living in the Middle East and repatriating big ($) money.

I am sensing a lack of backbone in Indian foreign policy, vis-a-vis Iran problem.

Let us not forget that Iran is determined to develop her capabilities in refining nucler fuel, domestically, rather than depending upon the (mostly) western suppliers.

Iran is a sovereign country. India is a sovereign country. If both consider their ancient friendly relations as a firm basis to continue cooperation on various fronts, including trade, commerce and mutually beneficial foreign relations, it should not be considered as an unfriendly act in Washington, DC.

Obama cannot dictate the terms and conditions to India, China Russia and Europe on energy needs and dependence upon Iran's oil/gas production.

America has forfeited her role as an (self appointed umpire) if not a policeman of the world. The world was there before America was discovered, occupied and populated by many ethnic groups.

The right thing for India to do is to stay the course, maintain absolute neutrality between Israel and Iran and give no credence to American free advise.

Let the chips fall, where they may.

American imperialism cannot sustain under the current political winds with their total disregard for world opinion.

...and I am Sid Harth@arabuhuru.org
