See photoNEW DELHI: Fresh controversy dogged Team Anna on Saturday as Anna Hazare's blogger made public a blog which was kept under wraps to blunt the Gandhian's claim that he had not spoken to him about reorganising his core team.
Blogger Raju Parulekar, a journalist, also claimed that the Gandhian wanted to remove "undemocratic and fascist" Arvind Kejriwal, Kiran Bedi, Prashant Bhushan and "their pawns" from his core group.
The fall-out between Hazare and Parulekar came as the former claimed that he never ever spoke to the journalist or met him on the issue of re-structuring of core committee and forming a new pan-Indian organisation with immediate effect.
Parulekar posted his version as well as an unpublished blog by Hazare in Marathi along with its English translation in the Gandhian's blog this morning, claiming that he had not uploaded an order dictated by Hazare after October 30 following a core committee meeting asking to hold core team.
The blogger had told media that Hazare wanted to reorganise his team and wanted to form a pan-India organisation, a claim denied by the Gandhian.
"I am thinking on the lines of restructuring the core committee. I am hereby informing all the members of Team Anna," Hazare said in the unpublished blog.
Parulekar said, "I am saying again and again Annaji was fed up with the core team and especially these four members (though he won't say this in public as he is decent enough) wanted to re-structure core team and build Pan-Indian organisation," he claimed.
Parulekar said Hazare "spontaneously" wrote the blog on restructuring the team on October 23 afternoon "when he made up his mind to get away from Kejriwal, Bedi and Bhushan and their pawns in the core committee".
"Sureshbhau Pathare (Hazare's close aide) was present there. He tried to stop Annaji but Annaji was unstoppable. Then Sureshbhau requested me not to upload Annaji's this particular blog on his blog at least immediately."
Alleging that Kejriwal and others manipulated Kumar Vishwas' letter on disbanding the core committee, he said after Team Anna left Ralegan Siddhi on October 30, "Anna asked me to stay back and in one-to-one close door meeting he signed an order to hold core team and asked me to put on blog which I haven't uploaded that order yet."
"How Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan and Bedi were so undemocratic, fascist and disrespect Annaji's thought and thrust their so-called core committee meeting on Annaji and overpowered me when I fought back for Annaji because Annaji is fragile, his blood pressure is fluctuating and is unwell.
"Dr Dharmadhikari was present there. He told me to take care of Annaji as he is weak. Dr Dharmadhikari suggested me that Annaji should be kept happy. So to avoid stress and strain I kept aside Annaji's document," Parulekar said.
Parulekar said he was not happy in talking about this issue "but analogy of 3 or 4 representing 120 crore Indians with non-transparency and undemocratic behaviour is itself a paradox when Annaji is fighting against neo-feudalism, monarchy and democratic rights of every Indian."
He said pan-Indian apolitical organisation and youths like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev but "do not like Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan and Bedi".
They will have to fight this battle of anti-corruption for Hazare without taking in to consideration a self- proclaimed group of 25 members undemocratically and unconstitutionally on the streets of India, Parulekar said.
He also alleged that a senior journalist who defamed him on TV should apologise for threatening him indirectly. "He challenged my honesty and integrity which I had kept intact in my 17 years of my life in media," he said.
In the unpublished blog, Hazare said, he thought of restructuring the Core Committee as he received letters from all over the country and states in favour of this agitation saying, 'I am ready to pledge my life for this noble cause'.
"The letters are written by retired Supreme Court judges, retired high court judges, brigadiers and colonels from Army, professors and principals and educated people with idealism.
"Soon, these people will be categorised taking in to consideration the type of work they are willing to do. I have decided to put to use such people from all over the country and states who are willing to do voluntary service to the society," Hazare said.
He said there is a need to ensure these people and expand the members of Team Anna. "Also we need to have able people and form a working committee. All members from every state will be given preference when forming a core committee. For effective communication they will be linked on-line," he said.
"We have a long battle to fight ahead. In order to have a corruption-free India we can put all this to use. I believe that not only India but for other countries too this will serve as a good example to rid their country off corruption. We do not want to form organisations but create volunteers on District and State level," the 74-year-old activist said in the blog.
"In this struggle there won't be a president, a Ssecretary or a treasurer. People will only work in the capacity of volunteers. Naturally we will need financial aid. No cash will be accepted. Donations in form of cheque or draft are welcome. But it should come from people having belief in lakhs of martyrs like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev," he said.

It is high time for influential persons like - Sachin Tendulkar, A.R.Rahman, RajiniKanth, Amitabh Bacchan, MS Dhoni, Narayana Murthy, Azim Premji, APJ Abdul Kalam, Ratan Tata and so on to come together and provide their support to Sri Anna Hazare-ji. Anna has confirmed this and goes on to say that he didnt do it as he realized the game plan of Congress. There is nothing more to this controversy than this.

Considering the clout sought to be wielded by Team Anna on the legislative processes in India, an in depth investigation in to the facts of Anna's alleged note on restructuring the core committee is absolutely necessary. It will be in the interest of the country that Team Anna gets this matter investigated under full public glare. I am surprised that no such demand has not already been voiced by Shri Anna Hazare or his Core Team. This is not a private matter. Nothing concerning Team Anna is a private or privileged matter.

Team Anna has faltered in chalking out an organized strategy for carrying a movement of such magnitude. Conflicting interests have led to the split and walk-away by its members. Shift in the ideology, from Gandhi to Bhagat Singh, does not come as a surprise for it was expected. There was a gap of three months between the Anna's fast and the winter session of parliament. Their intention was to stay in the news but they couldn't plan it well. They did stay in the limelight but for the wrong reasons. They participated in anti-Congress campaign in Hisar by election for one reason - Hisar being Kejariwal's hometown where he has ambitions of establishing himself as a political leader. Whole campaign was overshadowed by his presence in every rally. I still remember how he snatched the mike from the hands of Medha Patkar on Ramlila maidan stage when mr Vilashrao Deshmukh had come to deliver Govt's acceptance letter for bringing strong Lokpal. She was announcing the accomplishment of the movement and Kejariwal literally snatched the mike and started shouting "Yeh Hamari hi nahin aap sab ki jeet hai. Sab log mere saath khade hokar aawaz lagayein - Bharat Mata Ki "Jai"!!! Anna was perturbed with the way Bedi and Kejariwal handled negotiations with government and that is the reason they were not part of the team that concluded the negotiation with the government. It was Medha Patkar and Prashant Bhushan. Anna has been successful in his PR management. He is using a popular anti-corruption sentiment for building his own name. He is no different. His act of going to Rajghat to break his "Vow of Silence" is just another media stunt. Did he start it from Rajghat??? Answer is a definite "no". Irony is that this is yet another group playing with the sentiments of people.

thanks Manoj. Kejariwal himself payed the dues worth Rs 9.2 lacs after 7 years. If there were no dues as he had claimed then why did he pay now?? In this whole episode there are many interests involved, i.e. individual aspirations, lobbying, political interests, media interests. If you pay attention to the incidents of attack on team Anna members and coverage of this campaign you can clearly make out which media house is using it for a bigger viewership.
In short, you want satus quo to continue. Indians deserve to be ruled by dynasties, preferably foreign.

Shri, I am doing my bit in the fight for corruption. Fighting at the front is not the only way of fighting. Even those pushing the supplied to front are also in the fight buddy. And my contribution is that - I am not going to accept another bunch of people with wrong intentions. My contribution is that I ll not let the emotions clutter logic and rationality. My contribution is that i am working in my rural areas and spreading awareness on "importance and value of vote". Kuldeep, you are doing a good job if you are doing what you are claiming. And if you are really doing it you need not worry what Anna and his team is doing. But you have accepted in a your words that only fight from front is not only way to fight, but definitely a way to fight. You fight in your way and let others fight their own way. Till the goal is a clean India, a corruption free india, it does not matter what means were used to achieve the goal. It is the goal which is important. Even to some extent your statement here can be termed as if you are trying to get into lime light by saying what you are doing. Let us learn to support the right attitude. He made a mistake calling his medical advised mum as Maun Vrat a Gandhian tool for self cleanse. Gandhiji never hesitated in accepting his errors and took vows. But this this fake Gandhian go on speaking lie without feeling remorse for the same . Supporting and keeping three tinted colleagues is a colossal error, no true Gandhian conscious will allow him to keep such people in any movement. But Anna Hajare does not mind to go along with such people. Sometimes we are carried away by Anna and sometimes we are carried away by Digvijay, we vary ourselves to the situation which is comfortable to us. Those days when Gandhiji began the war of Independence, many at comfort level did not participate the war in the beginning. Then slowly they realised that they have life with comforts but not with honor, then campaign got the heat. Fighting corruption or Fighting British, is one and the same. For anybody who is not corrupt, a corrupt is a foreigner, he needs to fight. When Gandhiji began the movement, the total population in India was 33 crores. To mobilise the movement, imagine how much funds Gandhiji would have needed, apart from Physical and mental troubles. He did not hesitant to take even 25 paise as the donation. He humbly accepted it. Today we have 120 crores of population, some carried away by Digivijay, some by other politicians, some by other civil society and some by Anna. Making you realise that ' you are not honored ', is not easy job, Gandhiji took many years to complete his task, and eventually we honored him with bullets. To mobilize or to make understand 120 crores of people (including politicians) that you are cheated, betrayed, not dignified, imagine how many of such of Gandhiji's trouble to go in? Not easy at all. Many during Gandhiji's war, did not have any confidence, whether they would have independence to our country, in spite of it people donated, because they did realise that this is not a business of exchange to Independence. Let us not equivate Gandhiji with Anna. Anna by himself does not accept equating him with Gandhiji. But somebody like Anna, with great simplicity, has come forward to take us further into our democracy, let us travel. He is not demanding funds from you. All that he requires is your support for your own dignity. NEW DELHI: Raising questions over the course of social crusader Anna Hazare's anti-graft campaign, Congress General Secretary Digvijay Singhon Saturday said the latter's campaign is losing its credibility because he is constantly changing his statements."Anna says a lot about different issues. First he said that they would campaign against Congress, and then he said that we would not campaign against Congress, we would fight against the corrupt candidates, but now he against he is saying that they will crusade against Congress. The 74-year-old social activist had staged an indefinite hunger strike against graft that he gave up on the 13th day on August 28 when the government agreed to deliberate the issues raised by him and his forum vis-a-vis the passage and enactment of the Lokpal Bill, a suggestion that has received unprecedented nationwide backing.
He even questioned the ruling government's intention to ensure a corruption-free India, as it had failed to introduce an effective ant-graft bill to combat corruption so far.
Hazare had earlier said that he would fast again, ahead of the assembly polls that would take place in Uttar Pradesh next year, in case the Congress failed to approve his version of the anti-graft bill.

Hazare to block his blog
PTIAs a new controversy broke out over his ‘unpublished’ blog on restructuring his team, Anna Hazare on Saturday admitted that he had thought of changing his team many times but said nothing should be inferred till he announces a final decision.
“I have thought of changing my team many times as I heard about the allegations again and again. But you cannot say anything till I announce my decision,” he said.
“I used to feel that allegations which people made against Kiran Bedi and Prashant Bhushan were true. That was why I was thinking, should I make some changes in the Team... But now I have understood that crores of rupees have been spent to tarnish our image,” he said.
Mr. Hazare, who said he will block his blog soon after he reaches Ralegan Siddhi, suspected that there was a conspiracy against him and his team.
Asked whether the letter posted in the website was his, Mr. Hazare said, “If there is my signature in the letter, then only you consider it as a mine. If the signature is not there, then it’s not mine.”
The fall-out between Mr. Hazare and Raju Parulekar, his blogger, came as the Gandhian claimed that he never spoke to the journalist or met him on the issue of re-structuring of Core Committee and forming a new Pan-Indian organisation with immediate effect.
Mr. Parulekar posted his version as well as a scanned copy of Hazare’s post in Marathi along with its English translation in the Gandhian’s blog this morning, claiming that he had not uploaded an order dictated by Mr. Hazare after October 30 following a Core Committee meeting asking to hold the Core Team.

Alleging that Mr. Kejriwal and others manipulated Kumar Vishwas’ letter on disbanding Core Committee, he said after Team Anna left Ralegan Siddhi on October 30, “Anna asked me to stay back and in one-to-one close door meeting he signed an order to hold Core Team and asked me to put on blog which I haven’t uploaded that order yet.”
“How Kejriwal, Prashant Bhushan and Bedi were so undemocratic, fascist and disrespected Annaji’s thoughts and thrust theirs [in the] so-called Core Committee meeting on Annaji and overpowered me when I fought back for Annaji because Annaji is fragile, his blood pressure is fluctuating and is unwell.
“Dr Dharmadhikari was present there. He told me to take care of Annaji as he is weak. Dr Dharmadhikari suggested me that Annaji should be kept happy. So to avoid stress and strain I kept aside Annaji’s document,” Mr. Parulekar said.
Mr. Parulekar said he was not happy in talking about this issue “but analogy of 3 or 4 representing 120 crore Indians with non-transparency and undemocratic behaviour is itself a paradox when Annaji is fighting against neo-feudalism, monarchy and democratic rights of every Indian.”
Emphasising on a Pan-Indian apolitical organisation with youths like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, Mr. Parulekar said, it is them who will have to fight this battle of anti-corruption for Hazare without taking into consideration a self-proclaimed group of 25 members undemocratically and unconstitutionally on the streets of India.
He also alleged that a senior journalist who defamed him on TV should apologise for threatening him indirectly. “He challenged my honesty and integrity which I had kept intact in my 17 years of my life in media,” he said.
In the ‘unpublished’ blog, Mr. Hazare said, he thought of restructuring the Core Committee as he received letters from all over the country and states in favour of this agitation saying, ‘I am ready to pledge my life for this noble cause.’
“The letters are written by retired Supreme Court Judges, retired High Court Judges, Brigadiers and Colonels from Army, Professors and Principals and educated people with idealism.
“Soon, these people will be categorised taking in to consideration the type of work they are willing to do. I have decided to put to use such people from all over the country and states who are willing to do voluntary service to the society,” Mr. Hazare said.He said there is a need to ensure these people and expand the members of Team Anna. “Also we need to have able people and form a working committee. All members from every state will be given preference when forming a Core Committee. For effective communication they will be linked on-line,” he said.
“We have a long battle to fight ahead. In order to have a corruption-free India we can put all this to use. I believe that not only India but for other countries too this will serve as a good example to rid their country off corruption.
We do not want to form organisations but create volunteers on District and State level,” the 74-year-old activist said.
“In this struggle there won’t be a President, a Secretary or a treasurer. People will only work in the capacity of volunteers. Naturally we will need financial aid. No cash will be accepted. Donations in form of cheque or draft are welcome.
But it should come from people having belief in lakhs of martyrs like Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev,” he said.

If we flee the ground due to some small allegations, then people will lose faith in us, and it will not be good for the movement. We will fight this together, and we will remain united until the Jan Lokpal Bill is passed,” Mr. Hazare said.
He said there were attempts to defame the movement and its members by the government and the Congress, but the movement continued to remain strong.

As for Mr. Bhushan's statement on holding a plebiscite in Kashmir, Mr. Hazare said opinions of individual members on various issues of national interest should not be portrayed as those of Team Anna. “The movement has people from various walks of life, with different opinions on various issues.”
On Congress leader Digvijay Singh's allegations that the movement was supported by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, Mr. Kejriwal said there was no organisational support to it from the RSS. “There were all kinds of people who joined the movement, and they came as Indians. What is wrong if the RSS wants to join a movement against corruption?
Ms. Bedi added: “Aren't RSS people Indians?”

Suggestions to suspend the panel or disband it were rejected outright with several members criticising their colleague who made public his letter written to social activist Anna Hazare on the issue.
Unfazed by criticism of the team's anti-Congress stance in the Hisar Lok Sabha byelection, the meeting adopted a resolution asking the Congress-led UPA government to ensure the passage of the Jan Lokpal Bill in the winter session of Parliament, failing which Team Anna would oppose the party also in the Assembly elections in five States scheduled for early next year.
“We are prepared to face the government, but it must understand that this is a people's movement, not the core committee's. Targeting us in this manner may backfire,” warned activist Arvind Kejriwal.
The resolution said that while other candidates in the fray in Hisar gave their assurance on backing the Jan Lokpal Bill, the Congress, which, as a ruling party, was in a position to get it passed in Parliament, did not.
Addressing the media, Mr. Kejriwal said the meeting felt there was absolutely no need for dismantling the core committee. “The meeting was of the view that lakhs of volunteers along with the core committee members have played a significant role in the movement and there was no question of dismantling it.”
The over four-hour meeting discussed several issues haunting the committee, including Prashant Bhushan's statement on a plebiscite in Kashmir, resignation of two members from the core committee, allegations of diversion of the movement's funds to an NGO run by Mr. Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi's conduct in overcharging her hosts for her air travel.
Mr. Hazare, who has taken a vow of silence, was not present, as were key members, including Santosh Hegde, Medha Patkar, Vincent M. Concessao and Kumar Vishwas, who had sought suspension of the committee. Activists P.V. Rajagopal and ‘waterman' Rajendra Singh have already resigned from the panel. Ms. Patkar was represented by her colleague Madhuresh, who circulated a note written by her.
The meeting accepted the resignation of Mr. Rajagopal and Mr. Rajendra Singh, while “regretting” that instead of discussing issues on the core committee they had declared their intention to quit through the media.
Shanti Bhushan vehemently opposed the view that Team Anna should restrict itself to speaking on corruption and said members should not be expected to clam up on issues of national importance, especially if they had been active in those areas before coming into the anti-corruption movement. He was defending his son, Mr. Prashant Bhushan, on his remarks on Kashmir.
Finally, it was agreed that members “would be cautious and use their judgment while commenting on issues other than corruption and the Right to Reject and the Right to Recall.”
The committee defended Mr. Kejriwal on allegations of diversion of anti-corruption movement funds to the NGO run by him saying a decision to this effect was taken by the core committee under the aegis of Mr. Hazare.
Ms. Bedi was given an opportunity to respond to the allegations that she overcharged her hosts for business class air fares while travelling in economy class. “The meeting felt there is no corruption involved. At best it is a matter between Ms. Bedi and those who invited her. If anyone felt wronged they can demand the money back and so far no one has come forward,” Mr. Kejriwal said.
There was a suggestion to make ‘special invitees' those members who were unable to attend the meetings regularly. Mr. Hegde is one of them.
Mr. Prashant Bhushan and Mr. Kejriwal will go to Ralegan Siddhi on Sunday to brief Mr. Hazare on the meeting.

What Constitution is Team Anna talking about, when they say that they would be revamping the Core Committee according to the Constitution? This Constitution will have powers to punish members? Are these responsible thoughts? Coming from a bunch of people who had for a moment hijacked the imagination of the lay people? Surely this is immature drivel, is the thought which comes to the mind.

Hisar election !!! ...loose deposit....what a shame!!!!!!!!. I support team Anna's view on RSS. This is the way congress fools people on the word secular; but every party plays the card of religion, caste, and communal/secular and family/dyanasty etc. Now people know congress is more communal, practices vote bank politics with out helping muslims.. see the growth of muslims in India.... Enough we got fooled so so many years. Remember media is chela of congress.... day is not far media will be exposed.. Remember these team anna are fighting , no one is paying them. Arvind had to pay 9 lakhs IT bills only because he is in team Anna..

Let Mr Anna Hazare's team come across as a POLITICAL MOVEMENT, get the DESIRED MAJORITY constitutionally and SIT TO IMPLEMENT THEIR CORE DEMANDS THEMSELVES..instead of just wanting another to implement its designs (understandably, the fall outs of any hasty legislations might still have to be faced by the Govt, while all GOOD eventually will be CREDITED to Mr AH and team,and they know that) If India had withstood this evil of Corruption and other social evils for the last 6+ decades, it can withstand another 2/3 years till the next Parliamentary elections.. It wud do more good to MR HAZARE and team should they try entering thru the FRONT DOOR and NOT THRU THE REAR...

Its a public movement against corruption and the related evils including enormous amount of unaccounted money lying in piggy banks around the globe. This movement is just asking the government to work towards reducing corruption and act on those who are laundering unaccounted money. We should understand that the unaccounted money if would have been accounted and tax properly paid, the tax thus collected would have been sufficient enough for the nation to reduce burden of various taxes from the shoulders of individuals and yet carry on various socially related activities such as free education, providing various subsidies to needy, infrastructure building (remember we are paying toll)., etc.

Dont blame any one, unless we are true to ourselves and society. Neither political groups, nor any other cannot do anything if every citizen follow the rules, principles and procedures striclty. So it is the responsibility of every citizen to take part of every social activity in our country for the development of our society.

Posted on: Nov 1, 2011 at 12:30 ISTIn a democratic nation where rule of law prevails and where a judicial system is functional, methods like hunger strike can be reckoned as a terror tactic only.Anybody can go on a hunger strike demanding anything.Should the government yield to it?Such practice should be nipped in the bud itself.Or else the nation will be in chaos.Any number of laws cannot eradicate corruption from country,unless the entire population is thoroughly reformed to refrain from the practice.When people are willing to bribe GODS for benevolence how can >you reform them.Corruption is part of our culture.That is why Prashant Bhushan, kejriwal and Kiran bedi did what they did and yet argue that they have done nothing wrong.

It is ludicrous to compare indefinite hunger strikes to terror tactics. The fast by Anna Hazare was for a very good cause - the aim was to get the Indian government to pass a vital bill that will help solve several key issues plaguing the country. Please bear in mind that the government has been debating the Lokpal Bill for more than four decades. It's creditable that this movement has gained prominence. What other method do you think the anti-corruption activists ought to have used to get the government to pass the bill?
Coming to your question: should the government cow down to every demand associated with a hunger strike? The key assumption is that the Indian masses have enough sense not to support a frivolous or scandalous movement, and that the government though being far from perfect has a modicum of justice left in it.

How can people like Kejriwal threaten the Govt., saying 'targeting us may backfire'. All are equal before law , including Anna Hazares' associates. If they have committed financial irregularities , then it is only fair that action is initiated against them. They cannot always target the politicians, call them corrupt and raise the bogey of 'witchhunting' when they are at the receiving end. The movement against corruption should not be allowed to be derailed by some arrogant , self serving individuals.

However, the Airlines can amend its rules to say that concessions are only for the personal travel of the beneficiaries and not for their official or business travel.

However, when the group says that 'lakhs of volunteers along with the core committee members have played a significant role in the movement' one cannot avoid asking if there has been a process by which to gather the views of the lakhs of volunteers before Kejiriwal decided to enter the election campaign in Hissar. Or was that decision taken by just a few within Team Anna without even consulting other team members? If this is a people's movement, the broader opinion must be sought rather than the three musketeers--Arvind Kejiriwal, Kiren Bedi and Prasant Bhushan--hijacking the movement.

Various governments at Delhi has deliberately delayed any measures for curbing Corruption at the highest levels of the society and efforts to bring into account Black money with in and out side the country. All political parties including Congress(Most of the time Congress was in power at Delhi) have failed in their responsibilities under Constitution.To stop Anna and his team from further popularity UPA2 agreed for Lokpal Bill introduction in the Winter session of Parliament.Now they have started their usual game to divide Anna's team by bringing out silly charges against them.Compared to loot by People in power both in Politics and Corporate world these charges if they are true is nothing. My appeal to people please do not fall prey to the political ploy of Congress.Time for to express our views collectively.

In spite of being caught with hard proof, they are trying to justify their fraud and blaming the politicians that they are being targeted because they are fighting against corruption! Further, even in the face of several serious charges of deceit, both Bedi and Kejriwal are projecting an unabashed, brave public face which only goes to show how seasoned they are!! Even with limited opportunities, they have shown their corrupt instinct, so with more powers they would outdo the politicians! At the so called Anna core committee meeting on Nov 29th, the saner and cleaner members have abstained while the accused Kejriwal, Bedi and Bhushan dominated and given certificate of honesty to each other. Yes, we want a strong Jan Lok Pal Bill so that all corrupt people, including those in the Anna Team, are punished. The Govt should certainly introduce it in the coming winter session.

At least, she did NOT swindle the money and used the differential for a better cause, without cheating anyone! Let not anyone preach and comment from their ivory towers. Their approach certainly shows sort of defiance, conveying what they did is correct, no matter voices of other members. This gang of four ..Arvind Kejiriwal, Kiran Bedi, Prashant Bhusan and Manish sisodia have done disservice for the movement against corruption and should be removed to maintain the sanctity of the movement of. People should reject such people and stay behind peoples like Anna, Santosh Hegde, Rajender Singh, Mehda Padkar.
